Shakespeare comes to Newburgh
On Monday 30th January and Tuesday 31st January at 1:30 pm, children at Newburgh will be offered a very exciting opportunity. The Royal Shakespeare Company, about to embark on a National tour of the country with THE TEMPEST, will begin their performances in our very own school hall.
The children shall be basing lots of their in-class learning around this performance and thanks to generous funding from the PTA, they shall get to experience one of Shakespeare’s best known plays, from the comfort of our own school, free of charge.
