Yesterday, it was Roman Day in 4MP and 4EP. The children and the teachers dressed up as Romans for the day and during the morning they designed and created mosaic shields using small squares of different coloured paper.
During the afternoon, the children baked Roman Rock Cakes. They were quite easy to make and when they were drizzled with a little bit of honey, they tasted fantastic.
Everybody enjoyed the day and is looking forward to learning more about the Romans.
