The Newburgh PTA is a group of volunteers made up of parents (both mums and dads) and teachers within the school. As a parent/carer of a child at Newburgh you are automatically a member of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA).
We meet as a committee once a month and organise the running of many fundraising events held throughout the year such as The Reception Tea Party, School Fairs and Cake Sales to name just a few. These meetings are also where decisions are made on how to spend the money throughout the school. It is also a fantastic opportunity to meet other parents, get to know the teachers in the school and have a direct say on decisions that will affect your child, as well as feeling more connected to the school.
