Please bring your favourite book to share on screen in my assembly this week.
I have so many favourites - I don't know which one to choose!
These books all have very special memories for me. Growing up, we didn't have many books at home and the books we had were read over and over again and became firm favourites. One special book was given to me by my primary school teacher and I have treasured it ever since.
We did visit the library every week and my love of reading grew. I shared books with my own children from when they were tiny babies and together we developed a new library of firm favourites which were read again and again.
I have had the privilege of being a primary school teacher for over thirty years and have so many books that I have enjoyed reading with my classes over the years.
