Reception recently enjoyed visiting Dudley Zoo, where they saw lots of different animals. They learnt the names of the animals and we talked about their habitats. The children were excited to see the penguins swimming around and the monkeys doing tricks and even saw a crocodile in the reptile house.
The children were really enthusiastic about their visit and could be heard commenting: “We saw lots of animals at the zoo”. “The giraffes were really tall and had long necks”.
