Year 3 started to learn about the Shakespeare play, “Macbeth” on their return to school after Easter. The children were dressed in battle costume and took part in acting out scenes from the battle. They learnt how to sword fight as actors and show expressions on their faces. This is what some of the children had to sat about their experiences:
”The day was awesome because I learnt how to battle with each other."
“I like it because it felt real.”
“I wore a t-shirt splattered in blood!”
“We got to see other faces as we became kings or their servants.”
