On Thursday 28th January Year 3 travelled to Birmingham Botanical Gardens in conjunction with our topic of ‘Around the World’ focusing on how plants adapt in different climates. Children in Year 3 had the chance to hold and learn all about different animals consisting of a giant snail, a chameleon, corn snake and bearded dragon. The children experienced a ‘Rainforest’ environment in the tropical greenhouse looking at plant adaptions in particular.
