Results 2026

Early Years and KS1

At the end of Reception class all children are assessed against the Early Learning Goals. In 2026 82% were assessed as having achieved a Good Level of Development against a National result of 72%.
We have worked hard this year to improve our curriculum in Early Years and ensure that all children have access to the correct level of challenge or support as required.

Year 1 Phonic Screening
In June our Year 1 children take the phonic screening test check which assesses their ability to decode words and thus develop the skills to become a fluent reader. For the second year, we have achieved a pass rate of 90% compared to the National in 2026 of 82%.

Key stage 1 optional SATS

In May we choose for our children to take part in the optional SATs tests, this is used by our teachers to support their professional end of year judgement given to each individual child in their summer report. You can see our results below which are all above National. We are especially proud of the developments to our reading curriculum which are bridging the gap between phonics and KS1 optional SATs reading tests.

KS2 results
Year 4 Multiplication results
In 2026 58% of our Year 4 children achieved full marks on their multiplication tests taken in June, compared to 44% Nationally. Alongside this we had an average score of 22.6 compared to a National average of 21.6.
The dedication that our children and staff have shown to ensuring they practice using TTRock stars or UR Brainy has ensured good results.

Year 6
In May Year 6 complete their SATs tests which are marked externally in reading, maths and SPAG( Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar). Our Year 6 writing is moderated across clusters and by the LA throughout the year.
